Right now we're developing an affordable - but totally up-to-date full-featured pandemic ventilator with the major modes (AC, PSV, PC, CPAP & PEEP) - for the developing world, for COVID-19, future pandemics and regular, non-pandemic, breathing aid needs.
The developing world has a chronic shortage of ventilator units - pre and during Covid-19 and beyond:
[W]hile many lives are saved in developed nations through the provision of mechanical ventilation, patients in many developing nations often die from otherwise reversible causes due to lack of resources . .

Our ventilator will retail for around $4900, much cheaper than a typical developed world ventilator ( > $25,000).
Even future stockpiling in western nations like Australia and the US will be more cost-effective if a budget - but totally modern - ventilator is available.
By May/June 2020 we will submit our DW Pandemic Ventialtor ready-for-production prototype for regulatory approval to TGA with the aid of our regulatory consultant Dr Gloria Karagianis at Compliance and R&D Consulting.
But as an emergency, working & as-is safe-as-we-can-make-it device it will be available in May/June 2020.
